Certain inconsistencies in midday meal programme: Minister
New Delhi, Apr 21 (UNI) The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has pointed out "certain inconsistencies" in the coverage of the midday meal programme in Chandigarh, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and Punjab, the Government informed Parliament today.
In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Human Resources Development D Purandeswari said the matter had been taken up with the state governments and Union Territories concerned for clarification.
