Retired police officer arrested with illegal arm

Chandigarh, Apr 20 (UNI) The local police today arrested a retired SP ranking officer of the Punjab Police and recovered illegal arm from his possession.

According to police sources the retired SP Surinder Singh was taken into a custody after for illegal weapon including a AK-47 and a Four Self Loading Rifle were seized from his residence in the city here tonight.

The police did not give any further details of the raid conducted at the retired officer residence.
