India, Mexico should work together to improve people's lifestyle
Mexico City, Apr 17 (UNI) President Pratibha Patil has called India and Mexico to work together to improve the lifestyle of the people.
Ms Patil, who is on a three-day tour to Mexico, said this while addressing the people after paying floral tributes to Mexico's first President Madare at his samadhi.
In a brief address, she said India and Mexico faces the same challenges. ''Our policies must aim at improving the lifestyle of the people. Democratic structure of both the countries are very strong,'' she said. Ms Patil was given a guard of honour.
She said, ''in context of other countries, both the countries share the same opinion. We should work together to make better global system.'' Mexican President Felipe Calderon offered all help to strengthen the relationship between both the countries. He said India is an important country for Mexico and the trade between the two countries has increased 541 per cent since 2004.
He said Mexico expects special help in the field of eduction from India.
