Rahul provides fund for SC girl's marriage
Tikamgarh, MP, Apr 16 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi today provided Rs 20,000 to a poor Scheduled Caste woman for her daughter's wedding.
Mr Gandhi spent last night in a tribal's hut at Taparian village, in Baldevgarh Block, 30 km from here.
While interacting with the villagers, Tulasi Ahirwar told Mr Gandhi that due to her poor financial condition, she could not arrange her daughter's marriage.
Moved by her plight, Mr Gandhi provided her the amount with a rider that the woman should use the fund for the purpose only.
