7 of marriage party killed in accident
Raipur, Apr 18 (UNI) Seven members of a marriage party from the city were killed and 32 injured when a mini-bus boarded by them overturned near Bemetara in Durg district early this morning.
The marriage party was returning to Raipur when the driver lost control and the mini-bus overturned on Simga-Bemetara road, about 5 km from Bemetara, police said.
Police said 23 seriously injured had been admitted to the state capital's Ambedkar Hospital. Other injured were discharged after first-aid.
The bride and bridegroom, who were also aboard the bus, escaped unhurt.
