Jyoti Malhotra is IWPC president, T K Rajalakshmi Gen Secy

New Delhi, Apr 14 (UNI) Jyoti Malhotra of 'Mint' and T K Rajalakshmi of 'Frontline' publications have been elected unopposed as president and General Secretary respectively of the Indian Women's Press Corps for 2008-09, elections to which were held on April 12 last.

This is the second stint as president for Ms Malhotra who takes over the reins of the prestigious body from Sushma Ramachandran.

Other office bearers and executive committee members of IWPC are vice presidents - Anita Katyal (The Tribune) and Parul Sharma (Jansatta) Joint Secretary - Mandira Nayar (The Telegraph) and Treasurer Ritu Sarin (The Indian Express).

The Executive Committee members elected were -- Annapurna Jha, Geetashree, Sushma Ramachandran, Coomi Kapoor, Navika Kumar, Seema Sirohi, Subha Singh, Sonal Kellogg, Gargi Parsai, Neelam Jeena, Mannika Chopra, Narayani Ganesh, Anjali Dhal Samanta, Manjari Chaturvedi, Rashme Sehgal, Shanta Serbjeet Singh, Suhasini Haider, Tripti Nath, Kumkum Chadha, Aroona Singh and Vimal Issar.
