Jamshedpur, Apr 12 (UNI) A CISF jawan has filed a case against the principal and two other authorities of a reputed missionary school here for allegedly asking bribe for admission and also offering conversion as an option for admission.
The jawan, one Anil Kumar, who was transferred here from Bokaro recently, lodged a complaint in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate here against the principal Sister Flavian, an assistant teacher and a security guard, for humiliating him.
Mr Kumar, in his complaint, alleged that the Sister not only rejected the authorised letter of the East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner, requesting the principal to favour his son, but asked for a bribe of Rs 50,000 for admission.
Mr Kumar said being a government employee, he expressed inability to pay such a hefty amount.
The principal and her assistant later offered him to convert to Christianity as a last option for admission.
When he refused their offers, the jawan was humiliated and pushed out of the school premises, he said in his complaint.
