Withdrawal support to Koda govt at appropriate time: Oraon
Ranchi, Apr 11 (UNI) Union Minister of state for Tribal Affairs Rameshwar Oraon today said the Congress, extending outside support to the Madhu Koda government in Jharkhand, would take a decision on withdrawing its support to the latter at an ''appropriate time''.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Oraon said any decision in this regard would be taken keeping in mind the welfare of the state and its people.
To a query, Mr Oraon said the ''UPA spirit'' still existed in the state and functioning of the government was an ''example''.
Mr Oraon was on his first visit after being inducted into the Union cabinet.
Earlier, Mr Oraon and Union Tribal Affairs Minister P R Kyndiah were felicitated by the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee at the party office here.
Speaking at the function, Mr Kyndiah said the Congress worked for the welfare of tribals.
Mr Kyndiah, who was here to participate in the convocation of the Sidhu Kanhu Murmu University in Dumka district, would leave for the venue tomorrow.
