ICICI Prudential AMC launches Focussed Equity Fund

Chennai, Apr 9 (UNI) ICICI Prudential AMC announced the launch of ICICI Prudential Focussed Equity Fund, an open-ended equity scheme that aims to maximize long-term capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity related securities of about 20 companies.

The Fund's stock picking universe would comprise the top 200 companies in terms of market capitalisation from the companies listed on the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (NSE), a company release here today said.

The scheme seeks to capture the best opportunities that the market presents, without any sector bias.

The Fund seeks to buy stocks of companies that it believes were profitable and leaders in the industry in which they operate, have rapid growth potential over the next three to five years, and have superior proven management and solid balance sheets, the release added.
