Ashok Leyland March sales up at 27%
New Delhi, Apr 7 (UNI) Hinduja Group flagship firm Ashok Leyland today said it has registered a sales of 10,698 vehicles in March this year, up 27 per cent.
Exports for March increased a whopping 128 per cent to 1,156 units, a company statement said.
Ashok Leyland has closed the year ended March 31, 2008 with sale of 83,309 vehicles.
Sales in the domestic medium and heavy commercial vehicle segment touched 76,023 units, while export volumes are up 21 per cent at 7,286 vehicles, it added.
Total production for the year was 84,006 compared to 83,558 units in 2007.
