Ambedkar's birthday to be observed as holiday
New Delhi, Apr 7 (UNI) The birthday of Dr B R Ambedkar which falls on April 14 will be observed as a holiday throughout the country.
According to an official communique, this was being done in exercise of the powers conferred on the Central Government under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act of 1881 (26 of 1881).
