Mint Hindustan Times Luxury Conference opens tomorrow
New Delhi, Mar 27 (UNI) As disposable income rise among the country's middle class, it has meant that this segment of consumers increasingly dig deeper into their pockets for 'luxury' items and the Mint Hindustan Times Luxury Conference, which opens tomorrow will look to deliberate and focus on this segment.
Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath would inaugurate the third edition of the Conference.
The event would cover the an entire gamut of issues like the 'mystique of luxury brands' itself, the role of the government, countering fakes, positioning luxury in India, and learning from global experiences.
The areas of luxury being addressed at the conference will span fashion, hospitality, interiors, yachts, jets, gourmet cuisine and Intellectual Property Rights issues.
The two day conference will have about 400 delegates and speakers include Gucci CEO Mark Lee, Brioni CEO Andrea Perrone, Missoni Chairman Vittorio Missoni.
