Mansher wins mens trap event in Shooting Championship
Patiala, Mar 27 (UNI) India's top shooter, Mansher Singh today won the Mens Trap Event with a score of 139 (120+19) on the second day of the 6th Sardar Sajjan Singh Sethi Memorial Shooting Championship at the New Moti Bagh Gun Club Shooting Range here.
The second spot was decided after a tie shot after Manvjit Sandhu and Zorawar Sandhu finished with an aggragate of 135 points each.In the tie shot, Zorawar got the better of Manvjit to bag the second position.
The top six shooters who had made it to the finals of this event after six qualifying rounds were, Mansher Singh, Manavjit Sandhu, Birendeep Sodhi, Zorawar Sandhu, Anwar Sultan and Anirudh Singh.
Meanwhile the official practice round for the double trap event commenced today. Top shooter, Col Rajyavardhan Rathore will be taking part in this event.
