Mercury rises to 34.6 Deg C
New Delhi, Mar 26 (UNI) Continuing its upwards movement since the weekend, the mercury in the capital city today rose to 34.6 Degree Celsius.
The city continued to take rapid strides towards Summer with the scorching heat of the Sun causing a rise in maximum temperature, from 33.8 Degree C yesterday, to 34.6 Degree C, two degrees above normal.
The minimum also rose, from 16.9 Degree C yesterday, to 17.5 Degree C, one degree above normal.
The rising trend in mercury is likely to continue in the coming days with weathermen forecasting a rise in maximum temperature to 36 Degree C tomorrow. The minimum is also likely to rise to 18 Degree C tomorrow.
The Met office have forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
