Four North Indians assaulted in Mumbai

Mumbai, Mar 23 (UNI) Four North Indians were allegedly assaulted by a group of people after Holi celebrations at Santacruz in western suburb of the metropolis.

Four North Indians were allegedly assaulted by a group of people at Juhu Koliwada in Santacruz late last night. However, it is not known whether the group belonged to any political outfit, police said today.

According to the complainant, a group of around 8-10 people asked the victims where they hailed from When they replied they were from Bihar, the group hit them with bamboo sticks.

No arrests have been made so far while police has registered a case of rioting.
