Police take terror suspects to Goa border for investigation
Hubli, Mar 22 (UNI) Police detective team investigating the case of terror activities in Karnataka today took two terror suspects Asadulla Abubaker and Mohammad Ghous alias Riyazuddin Nasir around Dharwad and to Castlerock on the Goa border for investigation.
The sources said police had taken the custody of the duo, who were in judicial custody till March 27, and began investigations, based on the revelations by another suspect and medico Mohammad Asif.
They had informed the police that both Asadulla and Nasir had participated in the meeting organised by banned SIMI in the forests.
The team reportedly searched for explosives, in the forest area, where the meetings were said to have been held by the SIMI.
The team took the two accused to Halligeri and Mavinkop forest areas in Dharwad district, besides Castle Rock.
Other suspects Asif, Allabaksha Yadavad, Sameer Siddiki, Shakeel Mali and Yayha Mammukutti, are also under judicial custody till March 27, the sources added.
