Sixth Dera blast accused arrested
Karnal, Mar 21 (UNI) Haryana Police today arrested the sixth accused in the Dera Sacha Sauda chief Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh attack case here.
Gurvinder Singh, alias Gunna, (22) was handed over to the police by some people of Patiala, DSP (headquarters) Surender Singh Bhoria told UNI.
On February 2, the day of attack, Gunna had furnished the information of movement of Baba's convoy from Ambala to Bakshish Singh, the mastermind of the attack, on his cellphone.
He is also accused of keeping the explosive used in the attack with him.
His name had cropped up in the police remand of all the five accused arrested earlier in the case, the police said. He will be produced in the court tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Haryana Police released four sketches of Bakshish Singh, turbaned, with beard, cleanshaven and with light stubble.
No reward has been announced in the case as it is pending with the state Home Department.
