Police solves CRIA Director's murder case

New Delhi, Mar 21 (UNI) With the arrest of two people from West Delhi, police today claimed to have solved the murder case of Central Research Institute of Ayurveda T Bikshapati.

Mahesh Gupta (32) and Neeraj Bindal (23) were arrested from Janakpuri and police recovered one TVS scooty, one santro car and clothes of the victim from them.

Police said Bikshapati, who was already married, reportedly had extramarital relations with Mahesh Gupta's sister and wanted to marry her. But, she had turned down his proposal and had told her brother that Bikshapati was harassing her.

On March 9, Mahesh had called Bikshapati to his shop where he again insisted on marrying the accused's sister and in a fit of rage he strangulated him.

Later, Mahesh took off the victims clothes and disposed off the body in the Najafgarh drain with help from Neeraj Bindal.
