Heavy rains over most parts of Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 21 (UNI) Most parts of Kerala and Lakshadweep received heavy rainfall, with Kozhikode receiving the maximum of 13 cm rain during the past 24 hours.
The weather office here today said Karippur received 11 cm of rain, followed by Vaikom with ten cm. Kannur, Thiruvananthapuram city and Minicoy received five cm each.
It said heavy to very heavy rainfall was likely in several parts of Kerala and Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours.
