Worker shot dead, youths arrested for possessing arms
Hooghly, Mar 20 (UNI) Unknown miscreants shot dead a Hind Motors worker at Sharada Pally area under Uttarpara police station in the district.
Police said here today that the worker was shot dead last night while he was returning home from work, adding that an investigation was started in the matter.
Meanwhile, the railway police arrested two youths at the Tarakeshwar station and seized a revolver and some live rounds from their possession.
The two youths were being interrogated, police added.
