Bring culprits in Ayesha murder case to book: IUML
Vijayawada, Mar 17 (UNI) The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) today demanded Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and Home Minister K Jana Reddy to take stern action against those involved in the Ayesha Meera murder case in a private hostel at Ibrahimpatnam on December 27 last year.
Addressing a press conference here, IUML State General Secretary Abdul Sattar Majahid alleged that the police department was not investigating the case properly due to political pressure as top politicans were involved in it. The State Government was trying to shield the culprits, he added.
He alleged that the State Government was arresting young Muslim youth without proper inquiry after a series of blasts in Hyderabad last year and branding them terrorists.
