Nepal govt enforces second phase of security plan
Kathmandu, Mar 14 (UNI) The Nepal government has enforced the second phase of security plan in all 75 districts for the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections scheduled for April 10.
Earlier, the government had dispatched security personnel to Terai districts only.
According to the government plan, the Armed Police Force (APF) will be mobilised throughout the country to maintain security for the polls. Terai districts will see more vigil while the election candidates will also get security for polls campaign.
The government had announced three phases of security arrangement for the polls, Nepal News reported today.
Once the APF personnel are dispatched to electoral process, Nepal Army will take charge of security for key infrastructures.
