NCP has hardly done anything for farmers: Kadam

Mumbai, Mar 12 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in State Legislative Assembly Ramdas Kadam today said that though the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) keeps making tall claims, it has hardly done anything for the farmers.

Participating in the debate on the Governor's address, Mr Kadam said that the NCP keeps making tall claims on power and irrigation sectors that would benefit the farmers, but has hardly done anything for them.

''There are no firm steps to develop the irrigation sector which will benefit farmers,'' he said and lamented about the efforts to divert the money reserved for OBC, SC and ST for the development of the Krishna Valley.
