Tremors in Saurashtra, aftershocks in Kutch

Ahmedabad, Mar 10 (UNI) Panic gripped people of Junagadh, Talala and some other parts of Saurashtra, where minor tremors, measuring 3 on the Richter scale, were felt in the region today.

Kutch also experienced four successive aftershocks.

According to official sources, the tremors with epicentre in Sasangir in Saurashtra region, were felt for few seconds at 0645 hours, sending panic waves in the entire Saurashtra and Kutch regions. However, no casualty has been reported.

Meanwhile, weather registered a dramatic change after yesterday's tremors. Cloudy weather was reported in most part of the state.
