RBI Employees' Association not to observe tomorrow's strike
Kolkata, Mar 10 (UNI) All India Reserve Bank Employees' Association today announced not to observe the proposed strike tomorrow.
In a statement issued here, AIRBEA said the decision had been taken following certain financial package announced by the RBI authorities and the assurance that the issues of recuritment and outsourcing would be referred to the higher authorities.
The assurance was given during talks between the bank and the association at a meeting held in Mumbai on March seven.
AIRBEA said its decision not to go ahead with the strike was also influenced by the conciliatory process initiated by the Deputy Regional Labour Commissioner (Central) Kolkata at the behest of the Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) on commencement of recuritment in class three cadre in RBI.
