NALCO paid a dividend of 45 per cent
Bhubaneswar, Mar 10 (UNI) Aluminium products manufacturing and exporting company National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has paid an interim dividend of 45 per cent on the paid-up capital of Rs 644.31 crore, amounting to Rs 289.94 crore for the fiscal 2007-08.
Company sources said NALCO CMD C R Pradhan handed over a cheque for Rs 252.67 crore on the 87.15 per cent shares held by the Centre to Union Minister for Mines Sis Ram Ola in New Delhi today.
The balance amount of Rs 37.27 crore had been disbursed to other shareholders of the company like banks, financial institutions and individual shareholders, sources said.
