RSS warns Kerala govt, says it is ready to take CPI(M) headon
New Delhi, Mar 9 (UNI) Reacting on today's incidents at the CPI(M) national headquarter here, the RSS warned the left party to stop the ''brutal killings'' of its workers in Kerala and declared that the Sangh was ready to take the Communist party headon.
Rubbishing the CPI(M) claim that RSS-BJP workers had attacked its headquarters here, the Sangh Spokesperson Ram Madhav said on the contrary it was the Left party's workers who attacked their activists who were holding a peaceful demonstration against the killings in Kerala.
''The CPI(M) workers suddenly attacked our peaceful demonstrators from inside their office, which provoked them into action too,'' Mr Madhav told UNI.
Mr Madhav sought to caution the Kerala government to control the violence or be ready to face its consequences.
They are doing in the southern state what they have done in Nandigram, Singur and elsewhere, said the RSS spokesperson.
''We urge the state government to stop the killings and we are ready to cooperate with the government, but if things continue like that we are ready to take them headon,'' said Mr Madhav.
The clash at the CPI(M) headquarters took place here this morning, when the three-day CPI(M) Central Committee meeting was in progress, left four Committee members injured. CPI leaders said they had lodged a FIR against BJP and RSS activists.
Police have detained 12 BJP-RSS workers in this connection.
