TTD removes women barbers for accepting bribe in Tirumala

Tirumala, Mar 8 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) today removed three women barbers, who were working on daily wages at Kalyanakatta (tonsuring centre) in Tirumala.

Temple Deputy Executive Officer Chandra Mohan Naidu said the barbers were removed for accepting bribe and were not regularised employees.

As many as 40 women barbers were working at tonsuring centre, he added.
