Five people, including a seven-year-old boy killed in a road mishap
Hubli, Mar 7 (UNI) Five passengers, including a seven-year-old boy, were killed and 10 others injured, when a manganese laden lorry dashed against a passenger vehicle in which they were traveling on Kushtagi-Gajendragad road in Gadag district today.
Police said that while two people were killed on the spot, the boy died on the way to hospital and two others succumbed to injuries in the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) here.
The passenger vehicle was carrying more than 20 people to a temple in view of Amavasya.
The injured were being treated at KIMS here and District Hospital, Gadag.
