MTNL announces code change for 328 numbers

New Delhi, Mar 4 (UNI) State-owned Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd today said 328 telephone numbers of the JNU new campus area under BCP Exchange will be transferred to the JNU RSU exchange.

Telephone numbers with codes 2610, 2616, 2617, 2618, 2619 and 2671 will be transferred to the new exchange with code 26741 and 26742 from tomorrow 1600 hours.

The area of JNU new campus includes Uttrakhand, Dakshina Puram, Saraswati Puram (B&C), Kamal Complex, Jehlum, Yamuna, Satluj, Ganga Hostel and old Transit House surrounded by Baba Gangnath Marg, Nelson Mandela Marg and Aruna Asif Ali Road.

After the change, the subscribers using phone plus facilities will have to reactivate their facilities. Subscribers using dynamic code will also have to re-register their secret code by dialing 123 ABCD ABCD (ABCD is secret code).

The procedure for changing of four digit secret code and utilization of dynamic code will remain unchanged.
