Jammu, Mar 4 (UNI) A Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Jammu and Kashmir along with his assistant was critically injured when a vehicle in which they were travelling, met with an accident in the busy city roads here this afternoon, police said.

MLA Yogesh Sawhney along with his personal assistant suffered injuries when their vehicle turned turtle near Talab Tillo area.

''The driver of the vehicle when attempted to save a speeding motorcyclist, who was about to overtake the vehicle,the vehicle turned turtle in which both MLA and his associate got injured,'' police told UNI.

They said the police party along with locals rushed to the spot and shifted them to the Government Medical College Hospital.
