Bangladesh terms airing of Dutch film on Holy Quran 'unfortunate

Dhaka, Mar 3 (UNI) Bangladesh today said airing of a Dutch film by a far right wing MP Geert Wilders criticising the Holy Quran is unfortunate.

Responding to a media query, Foreign Affairs Advisor Dr Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury said, ''if it happens, it will be most unfortunate.'' ''The argument that it reflects freedom of expressions is totally unconvincing to the world's Muslim population. I would most earnestly hope the airing does not take place,'' he said.
