Summer seems to arrive before time in National Capital

New Delhi, Mar 1 (UNI) With the maximum temperature hovering at 33.9 degrees summer season seems to have arrived much in advance in Delhi.

Today's maximum temperature was 7 degrees Celsius above normal while the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.9 degrees Celsius.

The Met office has forecast a mainly clear sky with the maximum temperature expected to be around 35 degrees. The minimum temperature is expected at 13 degrees .

Yesterday's temperature was recorded at 31.4 degrees Celsius.

Sunny days in the next 48 hours would give no respite from the prevailing hot weather.

The warmth in the air is likely to persist over the next few days with the weathermen forecasting continuance of a rising trend in minimum and maximum temperature over northwest India in the next few days.
