IT Fest to be organised in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, Feb 24 (UNI) An inter-college IT Fest, known as 'TechZeal 08' will be organised by the Department of Computer Applications of the Government College for Girls, Chandigarh on February 26.

While stating this here today, a spokesperson of the college said that the IT Fest aimed at showcasing the talents of IT students of various colleges of Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and adjoining areas.

She said that the competitions to be organised as a part of the IT Fest would include IT Quiz, Graphic designing, Software Development, Website Development, Debate, IT Skit, Collage making, Poster making and choreography.

She said that the Chairperson of Department of Computer Science, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Dr Anu Gupta would inaugurate the festival.

She said that each student would be able to participate in a maximum of two events.
