UNPA Azamgarh rally deferred till March 16

Lucknow, Feb 21 (UNI) United National Progressive Alliance (UNPA) rally will be held on March 16 at Azamgarh.

Party State Secretary S R S Yadav today apprised that Azamgarh rally that was scheduled on March 2 had been postponed to March 16.

Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party (SP) had constituted a committee to check into the alleged harassment of farmers by police in Fatehpur, he said.

Leader of the Opposition in Legislative council Ahmad Hassan, MP Shyamacharan Gupta, MLC Rakesh Singh Rana, Vishambhar Nishad, Narendra Uttam, Irfan Solanki and Jokhu Lal Yadav were on the committee, he added.
