Seven-member gang held
Hyderabad, Feb 19 (UNI) Sleuths of the West Zone Task Force today apprehended a notorious seven-member rowdy gang, including two most-wanted rowdy sheeters, when they were moving in a car near Mallepally in the city.
Police seized two swords, 1.2 kg ganja and four cell phones from them and impounded the car.
The arrested Syed Munawaruddin and Mohd Lateef were involved in 27 criminal cases, including two murder cases and five attempt to murder cases. Two non-bailable Warrants (NBWs) were pending against them.
The gang had also indulged in indiscriminate physical assaults, extortions and robberies, police said.
