Obscene pics of president, PM, Cong chief
Umaria, MP, Feb 19 (UNI) A case has been registered against a manager of a colliery in this district for making obscene pictures of the president, prime minister and the Congress supremo besides employing obscene language in letters to Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
''Accused Avdhesh Shah (40) is absconding. The letters were posted in October 2007. A letter, from the Rashtrapati Bhavan and PMO, was received about a month back. It provided details and directed an inquiry. Shah is posted at the South-Eastern Coalfields Ltd's Pipriya Colliery in Johila area,'' Superintendent of Police S R Yuvne told mediapersons here today.
The probe revealed that Shah penned the letters. He is married, with a child. His family said that he was vexed over some offical case over the past few months.
