Ansal ties up with Educomp to set up schools;to invest more Rs 2

New Delhi, Feb 18 (UNI) Realty major Ansal API today said it has partnered with e-learning service provider Educomp Solutions to build schools in townships with an investment of about Rs 200 crores.

''Ansal will build the schools and invest more than Rs 200 crore, while Educomp will manage them,'' Ansal Vice Chairman and Managing Director Pranav Ansal told reporters at a conference here.

The schools--to be called Millennium Schools--will be built over the 16 integrated townships of Ansal. ''Four to five schools will come up every year and the entire project will be completed in 3-4 years time,'' Mr Ansal said.

Ansal API would provide the land and bear construction costs, while Educomp would be responsible for managing the schools and provide intellectual assistance.

Educomp Solutions Ltd Managing Director Shantanu Prakash said his company was also looking to replicate its parnership with Ansal.

''We are open to tying up with other developers and set up schools in their townships.'' The revenue sharing model was however not disclosed.

Ansal is already running the Sushant School of Architecture, the Ansal Institute of Technology as well as two schools in Gurgaon.
