VKP activists protest Lalu's anti-Kannada remarks
Mysore, Feb 12 (UNI) Activists of the Vatal Kannada Paksha(VKP) led by Former Karnataka Legislative Assembly member Vatal Nagaraj staged a protest before the Railway Station here today, protesting against anti-Kannada remarks allegedly made by Railway Minister Lalu Prasad at a function in Bangalore yesterday.
Addressing the agitators, Mr Vatal set a deadline of one week for the Minister to tender an apology to Kannadigas and took exception to the remarks made by Mr Prasad against the Kannadigas.
''If he fails to tender an apology within stipulated time, the Paksha would resort to agitation on the day of the Railway Budget,'' he added.
