Russia to lift ban on plant products imports from India
Moscow, Feb 12 (UNI) Russia will lift the ban on the import of some plant products from India, including raw tobacco, from today.
The ban was lifted ''after additional measures were taken to guarantee the phytosanitary safety of the plant products imported to Russia from India, and after the Indian side provided the relevant guarantees,'' Interfax news agency quoted agricultural watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor as saying.
