Inter-state police meet to combat crime
New Delhi, Feb 12 (UNI) In order to strengthen cooperation and coordination among the police of Delhi and NCR region, an inter-state police meet was today held here with focus on crime and anti-terror operation.
The meet, which took into account the mechanism to enhance intelligence gathering and coordination among security forces of the states bordering Delhi, exchanged information on curbing inter-state criminal activities.
Latest trends in crime, modus operandi of criminals and ways and means to combat crime were also discussed.
The meet, which also had senior officials from the traffic, law and order and security wings of the police, identified and finalised strategies to handle crime and its effects.
