HPTDC organising fair to publcise tourist facilities

Shimla, Feb 12 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Tourism and Development Corporation (HPTDC) is organising a three-day Tourism and Travel Fair at New Delhi from February 14 to publicise tourist facilities in the state.

The fair, which is jointly organised by the Department of Tourism and HPTDC, would provide general information on hotels, accommodation, transportation, catering, adventure activities and other facilities available in various parts of the state, an official spokesman said here.

He said it would also provide information about the winter discounts being offered in various hotels of the state, besides the skiing packages available at Narkanda.

Officials of other state tourism departments, corporations, besides tour operators and travel agents from all over the country are also taking part in the fair, which would conclude on February 16, he added.
