3 top militant commanders killed, one arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 10 (UNI) Three top commanders of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) and Harkat-ul-Mujahideen (HuM) were killed and another arrested in Jammu and Kashmir today.

A police spokesman said police killed a top commander of HuM in an encounter at Shiva, Sopore, about 55 km from here in north Kashmir district of Baramulla this afternoon.

The slain militant was identified as Mohammad Usman alias Usman Tunda, a resident of Manshara Pakistan, the spokesman said, adding that an AK-47 rifle and some ammunition had been recovered from the site of encounter.
