Zee TV's reality show winners hurt in Assam accident

Guwahati, Feb 5 (UNI) Reality show singing stars Anik Dhar and Sanchita Bhattacharyya were among four people injured in a road accident in Assam's Goalpara district today.

Police said the accident occurred at Lela, four km west of Dudhnoi town of the district, at about 0530 hours when the Bolero carrying them hit a truck.

The Bolero was trying to overtake a truck when another speeding vehicle came from the front.

The Bolero driver crashed his vehicle into the truck to avoid a head-on collision with the vehicle approaching from the opposite direction, police added.

The injured included Zee TV's Saregamapa programme's winners Anik Dhar and Sanchita Bhattacharyya.

They were travelling to Guwahati to participate in a programme.

The injured were shifted to Guwahati after primary medical aid in Goalpara.
