One killed, BRO driver among two injured, mosque gutted in Kashmir
Srinagar, Feb 5 (UNI) One person was killed and two others, including a driver of Border Roads Organisation (BRO), were injured, while four houses and a property belonging to a mosque were gutted in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.
They said body of Harbans Singh Bali (45) who was working as house keeping manager in a hotel, was recovered at Y-Crossing Mattan in south Kashmir.
A BRO driver was injured when his dozer was swept away by an avalanche at Sadhna top in north Kashmir sources said. He was immediately rescued and admitted to hospital.
One Hilal Ahmed was injured when a concrete slab collapsed at Pulwama. He was also admitted to hospital.
Four houses and a building which is the property of a local mosque were gutted in a devastating fire at Fateh Kadal in the old city early this morning. The causing of fire was yet not known.
