Governor lays stress on industry Technical education

Shimla, Feb 5 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Governor V S Kokje today said there was a dire need for the Industry-Technical Institutions convergence to bridge the skill gap, and make industry to sustain trajectory of growth.

In inaugural address of confederation of Indian Industry's Himachal Pradesh State at Baddi, Governor said quality of higher and technical education has a direct impact on industrial development and hence socio economic advancement of State.

''International competitiveness industry experts and workforce should have skills keeping abreast with latest developments and address the diverse needs of the industry,'' he added.
