Mah violence : Rioteers released on bail
Mumbai, Feb 4 (UNI) A local court here today granted bail to 25 people who were held late last evening for indulging in violence, following the controversial remarks by MNS president Raj Thackeray against North Indians.
Among the 25 arrested, 22 belong to the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena and three belong to the Samajwadi Party.
The arrested were earlier produced before metropolitan magistrate R D Agarwal who remanded them in judicial custody till February 18.
Thereafter, the accused moved bail applications before the same court, and the judge granted them bail upon furnishing Rs 3000 each.
