Gun factory busted, ULFA linkmen held in Assam
Kokrajhar, Feb 4 (UNI) A gun factory was busted and four ULFA linkmen arrested from Assam's Chirang district today.
Army's 11 Maratha Regiment, on a tip-off, carried out a raid in Simlaguri area at about 0800 hours and busted a gun factory. Two ULFA linkmen Ashar Narzary and Taklo Narzary were arrested from the factory.
Two other linkmen Suni Narzary and Taugaon Basumatary, were arrested from Dakshin Dakhlogaon in the same district.
Three rifles were also recovered from the arrested.
Taklo Narzary and Taugaon Basumatary manufactured guns and sold them to the proscribed outfit, Army sources said.
