Centre asks K'taka police to conduct combing in forest

Hubli, Feb 4 (UNI) The Union Home Ministry has asked Karnataka police to conduct combing operations in its forest areas near Kalghatagi, about 37 km from here, following reports of training camps being held in the area.

Police sources said the direction came in the wake of arrest of three suspected LeT men, two in Davangere district and the third in the city, early this month.

It was suspected that the Mohammed Ghous alias Riyazuddin Nasir, Mohammed Abubakkar and Mohammed Asif had been present at the camps and hidden arms in the forest.
