Call centre girl hangs self in south Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 4 (UNI) A 25-year-old girl, working with a call centre, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in the Hauz Khas area of south Delhi.

Ekta, living in a rented accommodation in Jiya Sarai, Hauz Khas, was found hanging from the ceiling by a girl living in the adjoining room last night, said the police.

She informed landlord Hari Chand who called the police.

Ekta had taken the room on rent just five months back.

No suicide note has been found.

Sources said there were problems in her family and her parents were living separately because of which she was tense.

Nearly a year back Ekta's younger sister had also committed suicide, sources added.
